Founder of the World Chiropractic Alliance
Dr. Terry A. Rondberg is a chiropractic activist and advocate. His many contributions to the advancement of vertebral subluxation centered chiropractic include the founding of the World Chiropractic Alliance in 1989, an international professional organization recognized as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the Public Information Office of the United Nations, with members on five continents. In 1986, Dr. Rondberg launched The Chiropractic Journal, what has become one of the leading monthly professional newspapers, with a worldwide circulation of more than 70,000.
In order to promote and support research into the effects of vertebral subluxation, Rondberg founded a peer-reviewed research journal, the Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research (JVSR), which has published significant original papers on various aspects of subluxation and chiropractic care.
Rondberg has authored and published several highly acclaimed chiropractic books that have sold more than half a million copies throughout the world, generating widespread publicity for chiropractic profession. Titles include Chiropractic First, Under the Influence of Modern Medicine, and Chiropractic: Compassion and Expectation. He served on the U.S.Department of Defense Chiropractic Advisory Committee and serves on the Sherman College Distinguished Board of Regents. He received the Service of the Profession Award from Sherman College in 1990 and 2004.
