Board of Regents and College Ambassador

A 1983 graduate of ShermanCollege, Dr. Randy Baze practices in Renton, Washington, where in addition to his human patients, he has a large number of animal patients.  Baze cares for up to 60-100 dogs and horses per week.

Rather than personally gaining from his care of the animals, Baze asks the owners to make a contribution to ShermanCollege in exchange for his services.  Through the years, he has forwarded hundreds of checks representing thousands of dollars to the college.

Baze is a member of the Washington State Chiropractic Association and the World Chiropractic Alliance.  For more than 10 years he has organized and coordinated a philosophy forum for chiropractors in his area with guest speakers to discuss chiropractic philosophy, principles and practice.

Additionally, Baze has made a point to speak to school groups and 4-H Clubs about chiropractic health care and chiropractic as a career.  In recognition of this work, Baze was inducted into the Chiropractic Knights of the Round Table in 1998.

A steady and long-term supporter of the college, Baze is a member of the distinguished Board of Regents and a Sherman College Ambassador.  He was named Regent of the Year by Sherman College in 1999.
