Irene Gold - Gallery of Honor

More than half of the chiropractors practicing in the United States owe a dept of gratitude to the women whose chiropractic board reviews courses helped them to get licensed.

Dr. Irene Gold started her board reviews in 1975 on the  Sherman College campus to assist early Sherman College students who were preparing for the National Board Examinations. The program grew significantly through the years and today serves students and graduates nationwide. Dr. Gold’s background in nursing and teaching, her love for chiropractic and her pride in the students she coaches laid the groundwork for her successful business.

Dr. Gold was born and raised in New York. She holds bachelors and master’s degrees from Columbia University, and earned her R.N. at Flower-Fifth Avenue Hospital, a part of New York Medical College. She earned her D.C. from Columbia Institute of Chiropractic in New York City. After completing her D.C., Dr. Gold joined her husband, Reggie, at Sherman College where she served as academic dean. She later served as academic dean and taught at ADIO Institute of Straight Chiropractic in Pennsylvania.

Although her teaching schedule keeps her busy, Dr. Gold has been a featured speaker at state and national association conventions and seminars, including the Sherman College Lyceum program and the FSCO TRIUNE Seminar.

A strong supporter of Sherman College since its inception, Dr. Gold resides in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, and travels the nation teaching new generations of chiropractors through her board review courses. Her greatest reward, she says, is seeing her students pass the boards, and the knowledge that she has helped so many chiropractors achieve their goal of entering practice and serving their communities.
