Gary Horwin, DC - Board of Regents
Gary Horwin was a 1978 graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic. He was active in and held leadership positions in many chiropractic organizations, including the Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations and the Chiropractic Fellowship of Pennsylvania.
He also was active in the Sherman College Alumni Association, Fellowship of the American Academy of Clinical Applied Spinal Biomechanical Engineering, World Chiropractic Alliance, founding member of the Chiropractic Coalition, New Beginnings Inner Circle and COCSA state representative. He operated Horwin Family Chiropractic Center in Lansdale, PA, which he opened in 1979. From 1982-1996 Horwin served on the clinical and classroom faculty for Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic. His many awards included the Sherman College Distinguished Service Award in 1986 and 2001, the Sherman College Distinguished Alumni Award in 1988 and Chiropractor of the Year in 2005.
Horwin was a member of the Sherman College Distinguished Board of Regents from 1982 until his death in October 2006.

I remember Dr. Horwin fondly. What a great guy and it's nice to see that he is remembered by his alma mater as a leader.
